The Life of Pedro Purcell

Hello! My name is Pedro Jose Purcell and currently in 11th grade. I was born in May 19th, 2001 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, which makes me a 16-year-old Dominican boy. My dad is called Pedro and my mom is called Angela. I believe that they play a huge part in influencing me and making me the person that I am today. I have 2 siblings, which are a big 18-year-old brother named Julio, and a 12-year-old sister named Isabel. I consider myself as a person who is passionate, helpful, respectful, humble, diligent, and hard worker. I really enjoy doing different activities such as playing different sports such as baseball, soccer, and basketball. I also really enjoy going to the gym. I feel that all of these activities make me a better person, relax me, help me concentrate, and most important, they help me clear my mind and forget about all of my problems and focus on the good things. The sport I most enjoy playing from all of the sports I play is baseball. It is a sport that I truly love playing, watching it professionally, and seeing other people play it. It is also a sport that brings me a lot of childhood memories. I chose this class for a number of different reasons. Those reasons are that I feel really intrigued about knowing what is going on in different countries of the world on the present, and as the next global leaders of the world I feel responsible about making our world a better place and try to eliminate the problems in the world. I really look forward to be educated with all the situations that are going on in the world, and I hope I can become a skilled person in analyzing news of the actuality of the world.
