About Me

My name is Sebastian Hazoury and I am 16 years old. I currently live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (I have lived here all my life). I am a student at Carol Morgan School and enjoy the environment of my school very much.

Sports are something that I love to do. It could be any day and I will always be willing to play a sport. I currently play soccer, do boxing, and do snowboarding. I like soccer because apart from being an amazing workout, I love how the sport is played. With boxing, I do it for a workout when soccer season hasn’t arrived and also for my personal protection. Snowboarding is my favorite thing to do. Every year on winter break, I go skiing to Colorado and it’s my favorite time of the year. I have been snowboarding for 9 years now and I hope to keep doing it until I’m too old.

Apart from sports, right now, I speak two languages and I want to learn a third because I feel it will help me a lot in the future. Something I’m eager to do is go live in Europe for a month or two in a country where I don’t speak the language. I feel that if I do this, I will learn the language much faster and also I will get to explore new places (I love traveling) and meet new people.

I currently don’t know what I want to study in college yet, but I know for sure I am not becoming a doctor or a lawyer. I really want to study in the United States because I want to know how it feels like to be that independent and live by my own for four years.

In my blog, you will find future posts about current events that are happening in the world right now. Sometimes they will be events from where I live, Dominican Republic, and other times it will be about another country in the world.
