This is Me

    Hi!

    This is Maricruz Cruz; in this blog I will basically be discussing world news. At times, I may focus on my country’s news, the Dominican Republic. I am a 17 year old teenager, living and attending school in the Dominican Republic or as we know its, the DR. The Dominican Republic is a small island with approximately 10 million people.   I am about to graduate. I am staying in my country for college. 

    My passion is towards business; I plan on studying business administration, writing this blog will help learn about issues in my country. Knowing about these issues might someday be useful. 

    I am not a real fan of writing, but here I have the chance to evaluate an issue in the world, and express my opinion on it. I am a big fan of sports and music, so if I have the chance, I will focus my articles on those topics. My favorite instrument is the guitar I have recently mastered the skill since I have a few years playing. In sports I could say I am a Renaissance women since I play every sport, I am not the best in each one of them, but, believe me, I try my best in each one I play. My favorite sports are golf and basketball. I have always been a competitive person. 

    

    I am writing this blog as part of a class, Current Events, as I mentioned earlier I don’t enjoy writing. For me this type of writing is different. I get to express what I feel and enjoy. Blogging gives the writer a chance to open up to the world. Since I have always been writing essays, fictional writing, and basically school writing, I will not be the best at blogging, but please bear with me.
