LAST Blog! :)

It has been more than 12 cycles since I had entered Current Events course module. Now, the course is about to end. Throughout these 12 cycles, I had enjoyed a lot of fun and enlightening moments in dwelling into the fields of social studies, and getting up to date with whats happening around me. This class made me sure that my classmates and I were informed about what’s going on around the world. We discussed, argued, and tried to come up with solutions with most of the problems that we are now facing. It was very interesting! 

I can still remember the first day when I entered this class. The main reason why I had entered currents event was because I had to take a half course for this semester, hence I need to find another module. Then, when I came across this module, I thought that it might prove very useful for me in the future; so I entered this class. After spending a semester in this class, I was glad that I had made a wise choice. This class made me aware and conscious  on what’s happening around me. It is helping me learn what has happened and what is happening, which will help me greatly in the future. 

The topic that I found more interesting in class was about the global goals. World Leaders committed to 17 Global Goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. End extreme poverty. Fight inequality & injustice. Fix climate change. Every one of the Global Goals is linked to solving our climate crisis. The one I found to be more essential was the 4th global goal, Quality Education. To validate and prove my point I decided to gather as much information and present an info graphic. As well my classmates were all seniors! We had even more fun!
