Immigration
In the last 10 years, the number of
immigrants in the United States has gone through the roof. I have seen stories
and examples of Mexican immigrants passing through the border and I have to say
it is not a pretty thing to see. People get sick. Women get raped. The worst
thing is, almost all these immigrants migrate in search for a better life and
end up going through worst situations than what they were previously going
through. I believe that the United States government should not make it as
difficult for these Mexicans to get in the country because the majority of them
want to contribute in a positive way to society. These upcoming months in the
United States will be very determining towards this immigration issue due to
the presidential candidates. On one side, you have Bernie Sanders or Hillary
Clinton strongly supporting the welcoming of immigrants to contribute to the
country. On the other side, you have Donald Trump, the candidate who is in
first in poll position, strongly going against immigration. His plan is to kick
out every illegal immigrant out of the country and also make it extremely
difficult for immigrants to become legal. I personally agree with the
democratic side with this issue. If I were president, I would strongly look
into which immigrants are contributing to society and leave them in, but I
would also take extreme action towards those who are committing crimes in the
country. Immigrants make about 80% of rapes in the United States. The future of
immigration could have two very distinctive outcomes. Either immigrants will be
easily welcomed to the country, or they would be kicked out and not let in that
easily. In the end, I support immigration in the United States, but only to
those who are willing to contribute towards society.
It is well written and I like the connection to real life but would like to see a more general approach or, if you must talk about a country, read about a connection to our country. Good job!
