Child Mortality Late Post
Child mortality is an issue that might not directly affect most of us but an issue that affects the world on a large scale. This unit was a great eye opener in the sense that where you're born really affects your outcomes in life. The sad thing is that children affected by child mortality don't grow up to see how it affects them because they die in their early years or months. As said by the woman who held a ted talk every 10 seconds a child dies. Every 10 seconds a life on this earth vanishes. Every 10 seconds starvation and hunger kill one human being. This is even more painful to watch because there is enough food in this world for everyone to live, what happens is that we let it go to waste. Why is it that we decide to turn our backs on children that are dying from needs that should be met worldwide. Simply by reading this paragraph 4 children have probably died. It is also very easy to talk about the issue and not about the solution but if not enough people act then it can't be solved. UNICEF has done a wonderful job of making this one of their main concerns. Child mortality shouldn't be an issue, every child should be guaranteed food in this world. Every child hsould have the option to live. Sadly not enough do.
Nicely put. Remember to write 300 or more words; you are short 65. Thanks.
