Global Water Issue
In this weeks class we learned about the Global Water Issue. I learned that many countries are desperately in need of fresh water; their populations are growing
at an alarming rate, and their water consumption even faster. But what can we do to help? People are considering
ways of increasing their supply of water like piping it under the ocean, shipping it in
giant bladders, and even towing icebergs all the way from the Antarctic.
Experts are even suggesting that in the near future, countries may resort to acts of war
to increase their dwindling water supplies. My country is one of the places that is suffering from this phenomenon. I looked up for ways that my country is trying to get rid of these problems. They suggested for people to boil and add chlorine to their water. But do you think it is enough? No. Let's start doing then!
