Reflection of end of semester

This semmestir I was able to attend  Ms. Costales current events class. We disscuesed about many diverse subjects from the weather to terrorism. Each topic we looked was always seen from the two sides. I belive this made the class more valuable since we didnt just settle with one side of the argument. today we see a lot of media that just have biased views and don't even repost the whole story, just the part that is convinient to them. We also studied topics the traversed cultures, languge and geolocical showing that all problems end up being conected. since we are all sharing this world it makes sence that the problems that other countries are having affects everyone. For example The problem that at first started in Syria then extended to incorporate all the power countries acting together but only to fight ISIS not the unfair government that was in place that in fact started all of the problems. Other problem that everyone is influencing that we learned was water contamination and global warming. While I still have some doubts about global warming we still contribute to a lot of the destruction done in the ecosystem. Water is a vital necessity and we learned about all the problems that cause and happen because of water pollution. We learn about all these diverse topics, try to apply  them or compare them to our daily lives then try to see if there are solutions. Sometimes if we can't find a good solution we will try to make or think up a good possible solution. We also discuss about our point of views on the subject and why we feel that way. I'm quite the stubborn one when it comes to that. This was a very good class because of all these things we have been able to learn about the world we live in.
