Hi, my name is...

If you clicked on this particular entry, it means you were somewhat intrigued by the title, curious to find out who you would get to read about. Well, you got me, Daniela Diez who in my personal opinion is kinda boring, but if you insist, let's get on with the basics. 

You already know my name so I'll start off by telling you that even though I am indeed Dominican. I know the highlighter blonde hair, snow white skin and bright eyes might throw you off but it's true, although I was born in Miami Florida, both my parents are Dominican and I have been living here since two weeks after my birth on May 17, 2000. While the years passed I started Carol Morgan School and have been here ever since. I have 3 younger siblings, one sister and two brothers, making me the oldest of them all. Very cliche, I know, but I absolutely hate being the oldest, it comes with waaaay too much responsibility and I am in constant pressure to get everything right and set a good example. Personally, I think I am the worst example there is to follow, my personality is not what you might call “normal.”

If you ask anyone to describe me in one word, I can bet you 100 pesos they will say the word “crazy.” Along with that comes, hyperactive, weird, funny, artistic, energetic and many other similar adjetives. This is who I am, I act impulsively most of the time, I am down to try anything, I am a procrastinator, I live the life of the party, I’m more of a go with the flow type of girl. I am the only one in my family who was hardwired this way per say, so I tend to stand out from the rest of them. I am the only blonde, blue eyed, pale member of the family, as well as the only artist. I thoroughly enjoy anything that involves using my hands, such as makeup, painting, sculpting, graphic design and fashion. In contrast, I also like to play a variety of sports such as volleyball and soccer, but my all time favorite is skiing. If you couldn't tell already, i'm not much of a reader, I prefer to binge on Netflix series or simply watch the movie version of any book. 

As for my future, I haven't the slightest clue of what i'm going to do. I would love to go to college at Williams or UMichigan, but they are very competitive schools, even so I won't let that stop me from applying. I am also intrigued by schools such as Elon, George Washington and Babson which i'm also thinking of applying to.  All I hope is that in the end, I am satisfied with my choice. One of my worries is that I will be studying for four years in the US which is a big concern because of the newly elected president, Donald Trump. Being very informed in everyday news, I know what an atrocious man he is, and am worried of what will happen to the US under his command. After so many months of scandals, and lies in the news about both Trump and his opponent, Hilary Clinton I have been left with no faith un the US. I hope Mr. President will stop his racist claims, mistruths and stunts for attention and become a semi-honorable man, worthy of representing the most powerful country in the planet.
