Gerard Serra
My name is Gerard Serra, I was born in Miami, Florida and currently I am 16 years old. I consider myself as being physically active because sports form a big part of my life. Among all sports, soccer is the sport that I enjoy the most doing because it helps me overcome challenges inside and outside the pitch. Now I have realized that blogging is a entertaining hobby which it reveals important opinions about important events.
I recently joined the Current Events class, one in which I expect to learn about the significant events happening throughout the world. Recently, I have been noticing drastic changes in the world and through the use of blogging I believe a voice can be raised in order to solve problems. Out of all world problems I am eager to investigate in depth the conflicts arising in the Middle East because these impact the world in a massive way. I also look forward hearing my classmate's opinions about events because this makes me realize what others are thinking.
I consider myself a determinant person because, I am able to overcome challenges even with pressure building up. In addition, when working in groups I am very productive because when given a task I always complete it effectively and responsibly. Finally, organization forms a big part of me because my mind functions properly when my workspace is organized and in order.
This is just a small description which highlights my interests, my motivation towards Current Events, and a bit of my characteristics.
