War Possibility

Not so long ago, the possibility of a Third World War did not appear very distant. The world seemed to be very inclined on remaining at peace. Although this possible war appeared very distant, as time has passed and successes have as well, the idea of a war does not remain as distant as before. Everyone thought that if there was another world war it would be between the United States and the Soviet Union, now called Russia. Russia’s global power remains intact, but conflicts between these two countries do not seem as big for an inclination to war.

The possibility of a Third World War seems possible between the United States and Islamic States. Conflicts in states such as Syria, Iraq and Pakistan continue to increase. The political, economic and social stability in these Islamic States is none. Everyday there are many dead and hurt. The bigger problem is that these places do not only fight in their territory, but they try to attack and sometimes achieve attacks in places like France. A Third World War also appears possible because of US involvement. Trump recently dropped the biggest non-nuclear bomb into ISIS territory, which clearly marks US entrance to a possible war. The struggles between Islamic States continue to grow. There are many military actions taken that we do not know of and that do not appear on the news. As well as military actions, there are many attacks that are caught and stopped.

It would be ideal to live in a world where what seems closest is peace, but as struggles continue to develop and rise the idea of a Third World War does not seem as a distant possibility.
