ISIS – WWIII or World Peace?

World peace is a theoretical concept only achieved with the tolerance of other’s opinion. Yet, because it is human nature to react with impulsivity and aggression towards a matter or belief that is out of one’s understanding, preaching acceptance in a world were we have enough nuclear power to blow various Earths’ is out of our reach. ISIS, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria – because of their domain over such, gradually forces all non-Muslims to convert to Islam using fear and terrorist means, such as cutting heads, the indoctrination of the young, and the torture of those who oppose. What we call our Bible, they call their Quran; this book is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from God. Within these verses, a Muslim world where its believers/ preachers will ascend to be with God’s messenger and Islamic prophet: Mohamed, is preached. Today, ISIS desires to establish a caliphate based on the Islamic teachings, accelerating the apocalypse, so those who solemnly believed and fought for the Islamic teachings will ascend to heaven and those who opposed will terminate in hell. With these ideas, it is impossible to neutralize the world by peaceful means. Ergo, if the globe cannot be salvaged by non-violent means, but neither with the start of WWIII because of the globe’s nuclear force, then all global citizens stand at a fine line between the tolerance of ISIS, or the violent protest against such. In turn, it all comes down to who is willing to die for their religion.
