World Peace or WWIII?

There has never been peace in this world. It is simply not  in our nature, no matter how hard we try to convince ourselves that we are civilized and above violence, it just never seems to be the reality. We as humans feel too much, it's what makes us stand out in nature; rage, envy and fear turns us to aggression. Today, the world is a confusing place. Conflict and corruption is abundant even in our modern western societies. We have moved forward with organizations like United Nations the “peace keepers” but still violence is a great issue especially in underdeveloped nations. Conflicts like the Syrian civil war, the threat of North Korea and drug trafficking are very scary and real situations. Political instability in the West is growing every day, with the rise of the radical right nationalist wing, this could mean the end of peace in many countries and the loss of hope to many. I personally believe that if things continue to develop as they are World War will be inevitable. Our world leaders are failing us everyday, tragedies occur  even when least expected. I could sit around and blame the president but the reality is the people elected him, the people knew him and his approach to the world.  We are doomed to fall into conflict but on a world scale and it's time we all take responsibility and face the consequences. Peace seems to only be a state of mind, when will it become reality I don’t know but it sure has never happened.
