Climate Change

In this class we have dedicated a lot of time and thought to what we call nowadays climate change. Climate change is a change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns when that change lasts for an extended period of time. This is a major problem, and it's happening right now. Droughts, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, just to name a few, are examples of devastating disasters that climate change can cause. Many organizations throughout the world have tried its best to reach out to the world concerning climate change and how we can improve our planet, but unfortunately the world hasn’t responded in the best way yet. It is going to be extremely difficult to make 9 billion people aware of this problem and find solutions for it, when their is a massive amount of people non educated and have no access to social media, where literally you can find out about anything happening in our world today. I believe the only people who can make this solutions be a reality are people with power and voice on their tip of their hands. Presidents, mayors, prime minister's, any type of political figure which has the courage and knowledge to confront climate change is vital for it to be stopped. By taking “greener” decisions and saving more energy, you may be contributing to the world, but it will not be enough to get rid of climate change. When I say a political figure with the courage and knowledge, I say that because not all of them believe this is a problem. For example, mainly in the republicans side, the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, bailed on the Paris Treaty where countries joined to find solutions to clean our ecosystem. He believes climate change doesn’t exist and is not a harm to the human race and its home, planet Earth. Addressing and educating this people with power is a huge step to climate change. Those are the people that will be listened and have all the type of resources to take wise decisions towards climate change
