Gender Issues

Gender issues are problems happening in the world. Gender issues is no more than not treating males and females equally, and besides that, giving out the message of how each gender should be through commercials, movies, and much more. Disney movies, in particular, give kids the message of how girls should be and the same for boys. Giving out this awful message at such a young age, will influence the kid in a drastic way, and the kids who watch these themselves will pass this on to future generations. One example of a gender bias kids movie is "Snow White". This movie gives about the message that every girl should be like Snow White, a delicate princess that cares too much about her appearance, and every boy should be the manly prince that saved the princess. Another problem going on with gender issues is the way women and men are shown in commercials. When there is a commercial going on about a beauty product, for example, the people in the commercial are not really themselves. To take the picture, the men or women get on as much makeup as possible, and at the end are photoshopped to make them look more "beautiful" . When the public sees these public commercials about beautiful men and women, the want to be them and makes them  buy the product, but what they don't know is that the people in the commercial are not real. The models in the commercial should feel terrible that their appearance is modified, this make them feel not-beautiful.
