Immigration

Throughout the years, immigration is something that has been talked about globally. There are many different policies from different countries in regards to immigration. In some countries, the immigration policies are very harsh and in others, they are less strict. There is a current problem with the immigration in the Dominican Republic especially towards Haitians. Many of them come to this country in hopes of better lives. In reality, many of these haitians that come to this country are usually people who will do any type of harsh labor work that no dominican would do anyways. So in overall, it would actually help certain areas of the country in terms of buildings etc. However I do believe that haitians who come here must bring papers. Dominicans should not be so harsh towards them and should find out an efficient way to get the situation under control.

By doing this, it will help both Dominicans and Haitians. It will help Dominicans because they will have records on everybody who is currently an immigrant here, and it will also ease the lives of haitians since they dont have to be on the run if they have a purpose of life here in the country. This issue started growing since the haiti earthquake in 2010, which unfortunately left the country in not so good conditions.
