As we may know it, water is one of the most essential, if not the most essential things for our bodies and for the world to function. You may not think so, but water is currently being wasted like you would never imagine. Security of freshwater is emerging as a global issue owing to steadily increasing use of limited resources by a growing population. It is causing pollution, and other damages to our planet earth. To achieve a secure and sustainable water future, the efficiency of current water supply and usage needs to be improved in several manners.
One way that we can help the cause is: Set up a managing committee to promote the cause and adress the current, and future possible problems. . Persons with skills in social marketing, public relations, education and communications are required in addition to water professionals. For example Bill gates was willing to give 5 million dollars to the person who could figure out how to function a toilet without water. Some people (even ourselves) throw water away and waste it without even knowing it. When in reality, water should be conserved as much as possible because we really cannot survive without it. Something must be done about this issue.
