Reflection
This semester has been very interesting. I've learned many skills and developed a great conscious in world wide problems. Before, enrolling in this course, I didn't see the news and rarely was informed of global problems. While my parents were talking I could rarely participate in their conversation, but know I am well informed and capable of having a point of view in political, social and religious problems. We were not only made aware of the bad aspects of the world, but of the good ones. We celebrated and applauded those who made a stance on their believes in Ted Talks, through photography and the media. What I moisten joyed was using my creative skills to do Infographics, Instagram posts, Twitter posts and Honest Trailers. Aside from that, I loved the topic of feminism and sexism. Why? Because I learned how movies, tv shows, books and human's stereotype female. I never had seen this so clearly. Women are portrayed as weak, disable and plainly pretty. If your not pretty, you mostly likely are less respected than pretty women's. A female brain and intelligence is not as valued as their looks. I' be enjoyed this semester and would like to continue the rest of the year. It was a fun and educational course. I hope that next semester they have the same privilege of enjoying this class.
Thank you Aura!
