Semester Review

This semester, in Current Events, was a very nice experience. We got to learn new topics and give our opinion about it. I really liked how we were able to use common and popular apps as a way to learn and spread the word of some of the topics we learned.We got to talk about all kind of current events which we learned more in depth. One of the topics I enjoyed was the debate about the election of US. I really liked learning new information and understanding. I’d also really like having friends in this class and being able to interact with them. A project we worked on was an infographic. Making our own infographic was really nice and being able to design it. I have never done something like that, so I really liked it at the end. The twitter posts were also fun. Seeing everybody trying to find a current event, was very interesting. I’d also liked the Twitter account because I was able to understand better the usage and the way it worked. Instagram was also used in this class. Having a second account was also cool. The Ted-Talks were not so interesting. Some of them were too long and very difficult to keep up. But the documentaries were very interesting because it helped us understand better the topic. In general, I really liked this class and I recommended to everyone who likes to learn about events that happen. Not only in the DR but all around the world.
