Semester overview

When I was searching for a semester class to take, my first option was Current Events. Not only because Ms. Costales is the best teacher, but also because I love to learn about current things that are happening in the world. The first day of school I was happy that some of my friends were in the class. I knew that the class would be cool.  At first the class was chill, but then Ms. Costales started playing Ted talks in class. Ted talks are sometimes boring. Some were cool like the Isis one.. But besides that one, I almost fell asleep every time she played one. I loved tweeting and instagraming photos of the topics. I love putting photos in social media that’s why I enjoyed the class. Something I kind of liked is presenting in front of the class and article I read. Speaking in front of people is not one of my strong traits but this class really helped me improve this fear. In parent teacher conference, I was saying that speaking in front of people is not my strong and that I didn’t like standing in front of the class. I finally got used to it and its not a fear anymore.  If I had the chance to take this class again, I would definitely take it again.
