Quarter Reflection

This quarter in Media Literacy we did a variety of things. I have learned some little techniques in the computer to help me be more functional when using it. We started of with a blog of ourselves. In that blog we had to describe ourselves as who we are, what we like to do, what we plan to study and much more. After the blog, we had to accomplish various tasks using the google apps such as chrome, forms, sheets, docs, etc. In this assignment was where I inherited little techniques that could easily enhance my performance with computers. When finished, we later passed on to the global goals which in my opinion was the most important topic we covered. Here we sat and investigated what our world needs to repair in order to have a safer and happier environment. In the process, I came through facts that were completely heartbreaking. For example the fact that there are countries that live by a $1.25 per day or less. This topic was a bit longer then the previous ones, but when covered we moved on to watching a very influential documentary called cowspiracy. Its a man who wants to investigate why all the big “green” companies hide the fact that animal agriculture is the biggest threat to our world. Watching this documentary I learned things I never could possibly imagine. I had never realized how harmful the humans are to the animal and to the environment and its something that must be stopped. Finally our last assignment was to do an infographic about any topic you desire. I chose to make one of my favorite soccer player: Neymar Jr.
