Quarter Reflection

This was a very successful quarter. I am really enjoying current events class. It has an interesting idea behind it. I really like seeing others people perspectives in things that are happening  right now. I have also really learned about technology when we did the Google Workshop. This class when I first saw it in my schedule I thought it was going to be a boring class. But since I first walked in the class I have always been engaged. I love discussing with my peers about current events happening in the world. I also really enjoy the teacher. THis is my second year with Mrs.Costales and I love how she manages her classes. I feel chilled but at the same time I am also learning. The most interesting thing we did this quarter was the movie. Cowspiracy is a movie that talks about how animal farming for eating is a major global warming issues. At first I expected another boring documentary but it wasn't that at all. I was always engaged with the movie and learned a lot of what is happening in our world and what we have to change. Another thing that was really interesting this quarter were the global goals. They are 30 goals that the world is encouraged to reach before 2030. It has some goals that I am really passionate about like ending child hunger, having education and more financial equality. I think that if the world reaches these goals then we would have a major change in our world.  This class has helped to realize what is the world we live on. It has helped see what really is happening and not the watered down version. I want to thank Mrs. Costales for leading this amazing class.
