End of Quarter Blog

Quarter 1 has been a good quarter for me in currents events, as well as a bad quarter….. I had a lot of fun learning about the vents that were happening in the world as well as learning how to do the many things a computer can do. I was amazed by all the functions the computer has and all the facilities it brings that I didn't know about. The google apps were the things that I had more fun with. I use the google apps every day to do my school work and I never knew that google apps had so many facilities that I didn't know about. The current events part was without doubt my favourite part of the quarter. I didn't know about all the important things that were happening in the world, now I know. One of the biggest problems in the world is poverty, but now I know that poverty has decreased 50% since 1990. Because of this class, I know that by 2030, poverty will be mostly gone, this is because of the Gate Foundation. My grade in quarter one, was not good. Although I was very interested in the class, my grade seemed to be low. I asked myself why, i came to the conclusion that I was not doing my work. At the end of the quarter, I managed to turn in all of my work, my grade busted up. Next quarter, I will do all my work on time and make this class my first priority. Ms costales was a very good teacher and treated us like family all throughout the quarter, I am happy to have her for the rest of the semester.
