Global Citizen

What is a global citizen? It is basically someone who cares about the well being of the world not only their specific country. It is people who want to make the world a better place and contributes ideas and does the good for a greener planet. The idea is that one’s identity transcends geography or political borders and that the planetary human community is interdependent and whole; humankind is essentially one. There are many people who are global citizens, but there are ones in particular who stick out more than others. There are people who for example help countries that are in need by contributing donations or sending things to countries in lack of resources. Some people only care about their country or the particular place they live in. However,when it comes to some factors, the world gets affected by everything that people do around the world. For example: pollution. There are many organizations and global citizens who care for the wellbeing and the cleanliness of the who world. However, we can or have seen people throwing garbage on the street or in places they are not supposed to. This would NOT be an example of a global citizen because that single piece of trash you threw away if harming our planet and the entire ideology of contributing positively as a global citizen of the world. Spreading information of how to be a global citizen is easy now a days. Social media has connected each and every person no matter their location on the world. In order to protect our planet, their should be sponsoring about how to be a decent global citizen. Since there are many people who are aware of the harm pollution can cause to the world. However, The least you could do as a global citizen is by starting to throw your garbage in a trash can rather than in the middle of the street.
