Terrorism TedTalks takeaway

The second tedtalk had more of an emotional effect on me, rather than an intellectual one. It did give me a sense of the fact that there are families of terrorists living in the united states who oppose terrorism, trying to lead normal lives. But the human reality, the human experience demonstrated in the guy's presentation is really what had an impact on me. In the first ted talk, I had more of an intellectual experience, and an interesting one at that. This ted talk focused a lot on the opposition against terrorism by normal people with peaceful methods. And it focused as well quite a bit on women living under muslim law and their struggle, which I feel is important.
