Legalization of Marijuana

The legalization of marijuana has been a controversial topic around the world. There are some who are extremely opposed to it, and say it is a dangerous drug, but there are others who state that marijuana is natural and harmless. In my opinion, marijuana can not be made legal because it creates of culture of users, which can later influence the young into making life choices regarding the use of this. Although there is in science pointing out that marijuana is addictive, throughout the years, in modern television or even in my own country, I have seen what marijuana does to people. There is something about it that I have noticed, many users of the drug lose some interest on anything else in life and from time to time only find pleasure on this, or always want to do something related to the drug. Although this may not be the case of all people, it is still important to know the effects. Marijuana can also serve as a bridge to other drugs. Most of the big addicts to other drugs such as cocaine, or heroin start off with marijuana. When they stop feeling the effects, they look for something harder, which can give them a good high. In my opinion, marijuana should not be legalized.
