Peace is Achievable

When I think of peace, I think about Mother Teresa. She was a women with a big vision for the world. Mostly, she was known because of her involvement in the Catholic Church as Saint Teresa de Calcutta. Mother Teresa founded charities, helped the poor and fed the hungry. She was an exemplary women. In 1979, she had the honor to receive a Nobel Peace Price and she was recognized by the church as a Saint. Mother Teresa once said, "Peace begins with a smile." And with this being said, I believe Mother Teresa is completely right. Before the whole world can be at peace, every single human must feel at peace with themselves. Meaning that, you must be happy, at ease and satisfied with the people around you. To accomplish peace we must all contribute to the cause and avoid war by doing this. Everybody must join together and cooperate as a community.  Accomplishing peace is one of the hardest things to do because of political and religious conflicts, but in the end I believe all human's have in common one thing. We all want to feel respected and find global peace. Tolerance is very important to accomplish peace and is one of the many battles that we face everyday. To make the choice to judge or to respect. The easiest path to choose is to judge, but the right one is to respect. Peace is achievable, we just need the determination and motivation to accomplish it.
