World Peace and WWIII

I think we are very far away from world peace. There are too many issues in the world for world peace to just appear suddenly. The Middle East and the fight with Isis is a real threat, and more and more people are becoming afraid. I think we are in the verge of a third world war, and I believe the assassination of a very powerful world leader or a mass murder can incite the war. For instance, there have been attacks like the one on Paris that have created a sense of discomfort and tension, but for the war to really start, something bigger needs to happen. It might take sometime, or it might never happen. I really hope it doesn't. World peace is something that I really want to see during my lifetime, and believe that it can happen.
I think the world has never been under total peace. There is always a conflict between countries and people are always fighting for more money and power. This is where we need to realize that sometimes money and power are not the most important parts of life. Family, friends, happiness are much more important for a human being than the excess of power. When people realize that, we will have a changed world.
