Medical Marijuana

Medical marijuana has been very controversial over the years. It is available in several different forms. It can be smoked, vaporized, ingested in a pill form or an edible version can be added to foods such as brownies, cookies and chocolate bars. In the current era, marijuana is classified as a drug. It has a high risk for abuse and no therapeutic uses. It is very difficult to perform studies on its medical effects in the U.S. But the idea that marijuana may have therapeutic effects is a very popular belief in science. My overall opinion on the case and legalization of the drug is that it should be legalized. I learned in class that medical marijuana saved a girl that had over 300 seizures a week. I think this is a positive effect about medical marijuana, and I have a strong opinion on its legalization.
