Medical Marijuana is it a Y E S OR N O ?

Is is truly worth it using cannabis, pot, or marijuana as viable solution/treatment for certain illnesses or diseases? After learning and seeing in class how this highly addictive drug for many could save the life of a young girl my opinion on this topic changed a lot. As most in my class, coming from a Dominican conservative society thinking of this as an option was something I did no really visualize. Logically, because most of us associate this narcotic as one many are addicted, fooled, or broken by. Now that I am educated on the subject, I would say yes to this all the way. Although in the past I have, and have even done a speech against it in the eighth grade. Especially because it can help with seizures, certain cancers, and give chronically ill patients a better quality of life. As hopefully a future physician, I would like to see distinct curing methods implemented because after all each body is different maybe one worked for someone but not for somebody else. Obviously, getting such treatment accepted or even done in a country like mine is highly unlikely because of the conservative/traditional issues mentioned before. Take fabulous medical cannabis into consideration!
