Semester reflection

This semester my mind has opened up like never before. I have learned many things about the world and I have realized all the problems people face every single day. The topics we spoke ranged between ISIS to even women missrepresentation. We spoke about the global goals the United Nations are working on. These include poverty, women's rights, food and hunger, water sanitation, and much more. I feel like the infographic we made was a great idea, and it was an excellent way to show the information in an easy way for the audience to understand. I remember that I researched about water sanitation and how it affects society. Many people don’t know that most of the amount of water that is wasted is due to farming since crops use large amounts of water. However, I think the unit that most impacted me was the missrepresentation of women. I think this is very true, and it is very evident in the society that we live in. Girls are growing dreaming about just being beautiful, and marrying a rich guy. They really don’t care about making a name for themselves, or getting a good job, or doing something remarkable with their lives. I am not saying that this happens with most girls, but this happens with a big majority. In conclusion, this semester has been filled with learning, and I have opened up my mind with many issues around the world. It has been a great 4 months.
