Immigration Galilea
Immigration
is the international migration of people into a destination of which they are
not natives or don’t have a citizenship to settle in that place. Illegal
immigration has created a lot of problems through the years. When people cross boarders
to move to another country, they are called migrants. If they leave the
country, then from the perspective of that country, they are called emigrants.
Legal or Illegal Immigrants, immigrate
to another country for varies reasons. For example, a lack of local access to resources, a
desire for economic prosperity, to
find or engage in paid work, to better their standard of living, family reunification, retirement, climate or
environmentally induced migration,
exile, escape from prejudice, conflict or
natural disaster, or simply the wish to change one's quality of life. Illegal
immigration in the Dominican Republic has created a lot of tensions worldwide.
Haitians are the cause of this problem because they cross the border illegally
and think that this country is not a country of law and they wont be sent back.
There’s also a problem of refugees, mostly in Europe. A refugee is someone that
flees their country for refuge or safety mostly because of political upheaval,
war, etc. Syrian Refugees are running away from places in the Middle East
because of the current war. This is very sad because they risk their life
crossing the ocean to places in Europe and many of those places turn their
backs on them. I hope someday these problems could be resolved.
