Immigrants leave, but does the struggle continue on?
Can you imagine leaving your home forever in search of a better life? Some people have to migrate from their country to another country, these people are called immigrants. There are two types of immigrants, those who have papers that legally let them reside in a place and those who enter a country and don't have papers that legally permit them to live in that place. There are a lot of problems that are causing people in the world to migrate. Some move because of economic reasons, others move because of political reasons and others move because of wars and persecutions such like the people in Syria. Others choose to migrate because of environmental issues such like earthquakes and floods. According to the UN, the top 5 countries with most immigrants are the United states with 45 million, the Russian Federation with 11.0 million, Germany with 9.8 million, Saudi Arabia with 9.1 million and the United Arab Emirates with 7.8 million. You've all heard the topics relating to the immigrant situation starting off with the Syrians fleeing their homes because of war and persecution, Donald Trump's infamous comment about building a wall dividing Mexico and US, and Dominican Republic plan of regulation deporting illegal Haitian without papers. People have had different opinions on these issues and have taken social media to address their concerns and opinions.
