Immigration

I was talking with my family about immigration, explaining them what I had learned in class and my grandfather called out the antecedents in our family are immigrants themselves. Apparently, his grandmother (my great great grandmother), lived in Nazareth in really bad conditions. After her 8th kid passed away due to this abusive conditions, she decided it was enough; she HAD to leave the country. She rode on the first ship that was leaving Nazareth, without knowing were it was going to land. The ship landed on Dominican Republic (at Moca, exactly). She stayed here and began her life from 0, and had 5 more children, one of them being my great grandma, my grandfather's mother. They all had a great life after that. My grandfather lived in Moca, and after he graduated from school he came to study to Santo Domingo. He became a successful engineer and lives a great life, thanks to the brave decision of immigrating his grandmother took.
