Hey there I'm Fran!
Hello! My name is Francesca Maglione. I am a 12th
grader at Carol Morgan School in Dominican Republic. I was born in Argentina on
March 26, 1999. My dad is from Argentina and my mother is from Puerto Rico. I
was born in Argentina. I have two younger siblings. The oldest one is called
Carola and she is in ninth grade. The youngest is called Agustin and he is in
eighth grade. They were both born in Puerto Rico. I’ve been in Carol Morgan
School since I was in pre-kinder. Unlike many people, I actually love going to
school. My favorite subjects are English, Science and choir. I like English
because I enjoy to read and write. I even do it in my free time! I find that
when I write I can express myself better than in any other way. I like science
because I understand it very easily; it just makes sense to me. Unlike
English—that may bring a thousand answers to just one question—science is the
way it is and that’s it, which is also very interesting. I enjoy being in choir
class because I love making music. It is so empowering how just with a group of
voices something so beautiful can be formed. Outside of school I am involved in
many other activities. Sports wise I am on the soccer team and I am planning to
try out for volleyball and basketball. Soccer is my favorite sport. I play
right defense. Last year we won the CAISSA cup. I also began playing the piano
last year. In terms of community service I am now the leader of a club called
Project Girl. Project Girl’s mission is to empower poor girls into believing
they can escape the cycle of poverty. Overall, I am a very well rounded person.
I like trying different things and getting out of my comfort zone. Goodbye!
