My Story Until Now

My name is Anna Sofia De Moya. I was born in a hot summer day in the Dominican Republic.  August 26, year 2000. I am extremely energetic and love to dance and move around, which is why people don’t expect me being a dentist, which is my dream job.

My relationship with my family is as close as can be. I don’t know where or what I would be without them. This includes my friends also. Whenever I need help, advice, or moral support I know that no matter what they will always be there for me. I have 2 older siblings, Mauricio (24), and Monica (21). This made my childhood 10000 times more fun and adventurous. I thank God for having surrounded me with such good people in my life, because really that is everything.  Good memories come with joyful people. I look forward to hanging out with my friends and family everyday at anytime cause I hate being alone.

Outside of school I practice tennis and attend dance classes. These are my ways of distressing and staying active. Also, at home, I love going on YouTube and watching tutorials on how to make natural face and hair masks, and try it on my mom and my aunts. I tend to get carried away and make some unrealistic dreams about my “talents.” For instance go to dancing with the stars and win the mirror ball trophy, go to the Ellen show, becoming a professional tennis player, have my own skin and hair care line, and more odd dreams (oops,… hehe).

Although I am a good and fast reader, I don’t like reading at all☹ I get bored right away and decide to do something else. But, I believe this is because I haven’t found a book I like. I am really hoping to get to love reading this year.

As a student, I always look forward on learning new things everyday and believe there is always room for more learning and growing. I finish my class works and pay good attention in class. But, I am trying hard this year to really do my homework. At home I get lazy and that’s what kills me. I don’t study and get around 85% on tests. But, if I studied and did my homework I could become an A student and that really is my goal this year.

This year in Current Events I would like to become more involved with technology and improve alot on my technology skills which need a lot of work. Also, I would want to be able to be well informed about world issues since this is key for important conversations and the rounding of your opinion and thoughts.
