Gender Issues

Gender issues is a very controversial topic that has been given much attention to around the world. Every culture and society have slightly different opinions and views on this topic which has caused a lot of conflict between people. One of the biggest issues regarding gender is regarding women and men's equality in the world. It is more than obvious that men are regarded as the dominant, controlling, master gender, and women are seen as inferior and fragile. that is the problem that many women now in days are trying to fix, fix that mindset that we have. This is where feminism plays a very important role in today's society. Feminism, by definition, is the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes. Not women inferiority, but equality. GThe goal of the feminist movement is to change people's minds about how they think of women. In the past centuries, it was not "lady like" to drive, work, earn money, amongst many other things that men were encouraged to do. Those issues have been corrected, to a certain extent. Sure, women work, but they are given a harder time, don't earn as much as men, and are constantly discriminated. This happens with any other task that a woman tries to do that a man does.  This is the matter that modern day feminists advocate against. I believe that the more people who support the feminist movement, the more influence it will have on today's society, solving one of the many gender issues in the world.
