Marijuana Legalization
I used to know that Marijuana could change people's life but I didn't actually knew how or why or even what it could do to a person. What I knew for sure was that I was in favor of Cannabis being legalized. After watching these extremely engaging documentaries I learned about the powerful effects of Marijuana and how it is much better than alcohol or even cigarettes. I was amazed to watch the effects it had on Charlotte Figi's case with her Dravet's syndrome. That little girl used to have several seizures throughout the day. Her preoccupied parents spent a vast amount of money trying to help her get better since she was in such a delicate state already. They had tried everything the doctors offered expect cannabis. After learning that none of what the doctors where doing was working they had high hopes in cannabis. Though this drug is not the recreational type but rather one to help treat those who suffered the same illness as her, Dravet's syndrome. The testimony of that little girl gave me more confidence to trust in what I already believed, the same way it helped with Charlotte's health it could help many others in need. Another reason why I believe Marijuana should be legalized is also because it helps with a lot of other diseases like Parkinson's disease, arthritis and helps those who are trying to end their addiction with alcohol. Aside from all those another positive side is that it is not as addictive as all the other drugs like cigarettes and alcohol. In conclusion, I am a firm believer that Marijuana should be legalized everywhere around the world.
