Climate Change

Human beings and the natural world are in a collision course. These are the words of David Suzuki a Canadian academic that is known for his broadcasting and for being an environmental activist. I agree with him one hundred percent. Also, I feel that not enough is being done to steer humanity away from our colliding path with nature. This should be something hard to believe since we need nature to survive. With every year that passes by we exponentially harm the environment and at this rate it will be almost impossible to reverse the damage that has already been done. So in order to stop this madness, immediate actions must be implemented all over the world. There are just too many people that just do not care about what happens to our planet in the future, their argument being that it will not affect them since they will not be alive when the real problems start. They are very wrong, and this is all because of lack of education in this topic. Many people that don’t do anything to stop climate would most likely do so if they were informed about the drastic effects it will have on their daily lives. Also government actions are needed to force the people unwilling to help into living more environmentally friendly lives, this would surely have a great impact on the stated problem. In conclusion, climate change is one of the top issues that need to be tackled immediately in order for our planet Earth to stay habitable.
