Legalization of Weed

 Throughout these years, the legalization of marijuana has been a controversial topic. The United States has made many discussions and different point of views related to marijuana. After watching "Culture High", there is enough evidence to conclude that marijuana should be legalized. After all, humans share planet earth and marijuana is a plant that grows in our planet. There shouldn't be regulations against the use of resources that are natural to the planet Earth. Every human must have the right to use these natural resources responsibly, without the interference of governments. In the documentary, "Culture High", there were many cases in which cannabis was used to cure epilepsy. It was clear how kids who were affected by chronic diseases didn't improve while taking medicines but when their treatment was switched to marijuana, it was like a miracle in their life. There is no reason why authorities restrict the use of a plant to help save lives of humans. We can infer that governments are more willing to give up human lives than to legalize marijuana. On the other side, marijuana should be also legalized recreationally. Humans constantly want to do what is against the law and if marijuana gets legalized the amount of users will be significantly reduced. Governments say this plant is a dangerous drug but stats show that nobody has died from an overdose of marijuana. Due to this we can say that alcohol is a much dangerous drug than marijuana despite it being legal. If marijuana gets legalized recreationally it is up to the users to use it responsibly. Without a doubt, marijuana should be legalized in the United and everywhere in the world.
