Decent Work and Economic Growth

The global goal I chose was decent work and economic growth. I am really interested in these topic. I plan on studying finance so economic issues should concern me. The main issues are the rate of unemployment in the world. People all around the world are unemployed and don’t have jobs to rely on. They are in desperate need of work so they take anything. When it comes to decent work many people work extra hours in bad condition while getting paid under minimum wage. For example in our country we see this with construction worker who work in environments that are contaminated, work over hours and receive low pay. When it comes to economic growth I believe the main cause of the problem is government corruption. In our country we see government corruption everyday. For example the other day there was a problem with the construction company from Brazil called Odebrecht. What they did was that if a project cost 3 million dollars to do they would say it was 9 million and take the 6 million that were left. It is because of corrupt government officials like this one that we suffer economic decay.
