Immigrants/Refugees

What is immigration? According to the urban dictionary, immigration is “the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country”. One could be an illegal immigrant or legal immigrant. Legal immigrants are those who go through the process of applying for a citizenship in a country that is not their own and are granted the citizenship. These people often do this in order to start a better life. Those who are illegal immigrants are those who illegally enter a country without any papers or form of residency. This could be done by smuggling themselves as well as others into the country, by faking papers and/or seeking refuge from their original home. This is something that is very common, especially with the Syrian people who are seeking refuge. According to World Vision 4.9 million Syrians are refugees. Most of these Syrians are ar undocumented and illegal. Syrians seek refuge because of the wars that are going on and are seeking a better life. Most of the syrians who seek refuge are illegal immigrants. This people have to flee their homes and barely have time to take any sort of personal possessions (of which are left), that including their documents (if not destroyed). Illegal immigration is a world problem that is taking place and increasing every day. It is up to the people to help those who seek help like the Syrian refugees and extend our helping hands.
