Global Goals #2

There are many problems in the world but we only notice some of them. The Global Goals are 17 different goals set by countries that look forward to fix the problems of the world. I believe that the problem that needs the most attention is hunger. Although most of us don't realize how terrible it is, about 21,000 people die due to hunger every year. Already knowing that this amount of humans are dying because of hunger we keep on wasting food that others could be enjoying. Approximately 1.3 billion tonnes of food are wasted yearly. This is more than enough to feed those who have no food to eat. Most of this individuals were placed on this unwanted situation because they were not born with the same opportunities others have. This individuals are uneducated and they have to produce for themselves in order to survive. Sadly only some are able to subsist with this. In class we saw a very interesting Ted-Talk which talked about the world having more than enough food to feed the people who suffer of hunger, but astonishingly the problem hasn't been solved yet. If this problem were to be fixed, not only fewer people would die because of hunger, the deaths because of diseases would decease drastically. Most of the deaths because of diseases are due to malnutrition. Sadly this still is a mayor threat to the world and it needs to be stop as soon as possible. The world needs a change for a better future.
