Leon Levy

Hello my name is Leon Levy, I am 16 years old and currently studying at Carol Morgan School in Santo Domingo,  Dominican Republic. I am originally from Venezuela but have lived most of my life here in the Caribbean. I have always been fascinated about current events and what happens in the world. I have always been fascinated by the news, either good or bad, I am always active and current in what is happening world wide. I enrolled in this class because of this interest and concern for the world. I think everyone is able to impact the world, and the best way to find solutions to problems is investigating them. My goal for this class is to be as informed as possible. I am extremely curious about everything that is going on at the moment, and I wish to dig deeper into these subjects. This year I will work hard and I hope to accomplish my goals. I will attempt to find good stories for the class, and tell you all whats going on in the world. In my opinion current events is the most important social study, it relates to everything that is going on at the moment. Current events helps us understand the modern world. We can learn from other peoples experiences and everything that is going on at the moment. Current events also relates to the sciences, because it has to do with new technologies, discoveries and the modern world. Current events relates to everything.
