Immigration
Immigration is when a person leaves a place in order to go to another. There are two types of immigration. The type that is forced while the other is voluntary. A person is to most likely leave voluntarily for love, family or better in search for a better life. Immigration that is forced happens when a person is forced to leave because of religion, persecution, natural disasters and wars.
Immigration is a growing issue around the world. Today, for example, there are many people fleeing Syria because of the war. ISIS is persecuting the Syrian people and bombing their homes and their gathering places. The unrest is escalating more and more to a level where millions of Syrians are leaving their homes in search for peace and stability. In the process of leaving, many have left the territory legally as well as illegally. The goal is to reach Europe and apply for political asylum.
Another country that is suffering and its people are constantly migrating in search for a better life is Venezuela. The situation in Venezuela worsens every day. There is a scarcity of food, medical supplies and other basic supplies. People are fleeing to other places such as those in South America, Central America and North America looking for a better life. People are leaving their home, family and friends behind because they can no longer live in such horrible conditions.
Migrating from one country to another is not easy for anyone. It is tough to leave family members, friends, your home, your culture and basically, your whole life behind. Immigration is never easy, whether you are forced to leave or are voluntarily leaving. We must all be more supportive for the people that make up the world and the circumstances they are facing, which are causing them to leave everything behind and start a new life.
