HUNGER
Hunger is a growing problem in the whole world. In my country for example we see hunger everyday in the streets all around the Dominican Republic. People bg in the streets for money so they can buy foods for them and their families. What frustrates me the most is that there is enough food to feed everyone in the the planet but somehow we have people dying everyday because of food shortage. It is unacceptable that some people have to walk miles to get water that is not even clean and that is contaminated. People all around the world need more resources right now. I believe that we are taking a step forward because many organizations have taken this problem into consideration and have created viable solutions that could abolish the issue. For example they have created a card that allows arabic women to buy 9 local alimentation items from a store. This is a big step because we are finding ways of finding resources to people that do not have them. A solution that I think would work is being more careful in the production of food. We always here about the huge amount of waste in the production of foods because of small errors and misjudgments in the process. This wasted food would've been useful for those who are suffering from hunger and lack of resources.
I completely agree with your mention if how unfair it is that there are people im the world that are dying because of food shortage. While we see many people living a lavish life, there is a majority that don't know when or what they will be able to live. It is vital to address this issue and have immediate. There are many people helping out this issue and more people should join this cause. More food for people means more lives saved per minute.
ReplyDeletei totally agreed with MR. Kury people are going hungry because of mistakes rather their being a lack of food.we need to help out by starting in our own country so that everyone can be fortunate enough to have food and clean water everywhere.
