Forks Over Knives
In the documentary Forks over Knives, we learn about how processed food is harming our bodies and how we should be eating healthier. In this persuasive documentary, their goal is to help humans understand what happens inside the factories where the processed foods are made and show the effects on the body when consuming this harmful meals. I was impacted when I watched the documentary because I was able to learn and see how processed foods harm our bodies and the effect it has on it as well. I learned that there are many people blinded by the foods and don't realize that all the junk food they eat is what is causing all their health problems and diseases. This is something that really shocked me because people are allowing themselves to believe that processed food is good for them and that it has no effect on their bodies as well as that what is causing them to be sick is not the food they eat but just their own bodies. Another thing that stood out to me in this documentary is how there are doctors who are neglected to believe that by adjusting your lifestyle by eating healthier and exercising you can “cure” your health. I had not yet realized how accurate the information given by this documentary was, but now that I have watched it I can understand better the need to eat healthily and exercise. If we eat healthy, exercise and maintain processed/junk food out of our lives, we will be healthy.
