Lack of Water
There is a lack of water on the world we live in. Currently "85% of the world population lives in the driest half of the planet. 783 million people do not have access to clean water and almost 2.5 billion do not have access to adequate sanitation". This is an example of how severe the lack of clean water is. If this amount of people don't have access to clean water and adequate sanitation something needs to be done; already about "6 to 8 million people die annually from the consequences of disasters and water-related diseases". Water is essential to live. Humans can withstand an amount of days without eating but can only withstand about a week without water. I think that water should be a human right, everybody needs to survive. In most of the countries that have water scarcity , women are the ones in charge of getting it. Having the women doing this for their families prevents them from getting a proper or even education at all. If the water is supplied properly to this people then the women will get their education. Every human deserves a clean water supply and a working sanitation. Not only this will help preventing disease but it will also decrease the amount of deaths due to lack of water of to dirty water supply.
