Immigration in our World
It is estimated that there are around "191 million immigrants in the world". This mass movement of humans is often due to factors such as hope of a better life or fleeing war. Mexicans migrating into the US and the Syrian crisis are just example of mass human migrations.
Why do people immigrate? This can be due to conflicts or just a hope in getting a new opportunity in a new country. Due to this countries with a stable economy such as the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom must embrace these people despite the differences in cultures. The world must sympathize to refugees especially, because it is our duty to treat them as a fellow human being. Countries that receive immigrants must be respectful to them because moving to another country is an act of courage. These people don't move because they desire, they move because they are forced and it is necessary.
Countries with high rate of immigrants might ask themselves why must they accept these people. Immigrants provide many advantages to these countries. These people are willing to do job that citizens of that country are not willing to do. This helps the country because immigrants will work for a lower pay, which may seem unfair, helps in boosting the economy. In addition, these immigrants can add diversity to the society which helps in creating tolerance and understanding to diverse cultures.
Without a doubt, countries have to realize that immigrants fleeing from war have to be treated more leniently. Despite the fear arising in countries receiving large amounts of immigrants, people must understand the numerous benefits of immigrants.
