Water Sanitation

Today in class we learned about a crucial ongoing problem causing negative damages throughout the whole world. This issue is Poop! Shit, Pooh, poop, feces, potty or however you want to call it contains many damaging chemicals that affect human beings health. The specific harmful chemical of poop is the action of bacteria on bilirubin, which is the end product of the breakdown of hemoglobin (red blood cells). In the present world there are many disadvantaged people who sadly don't have access to clean toilets, in fact at least 2.5 billion people have absolutely no access at all  to toilets or even a comfortable way to dispose of their feces. This huge problem opens the door to many hygiene calamities. First off it makes people being prone to diarrhea (which is something many people don't know can lead to death). Moreover, it can lead to problems within one's system that furthermore can lead to constipation and even cholera. Imagine not being able to poop because literally your body can't! In class we watched a pretty interesting ted talked that opened up in a "darkened humorous" way about the topic. It addressed issues of sanitation due to this specific topic and touched the subjects of countries that suffer immensely because of this. The TED talk after appealing and grasping people's interests with real life example concluded that to fix this we need to act as human beings together to prevent this ongoing problem by not only making sure your hygiene is safe for you but for others. Please spread this messege and this way we can change.
